Injection molding is a method of producing shapes for industrial products. Injection molded plastic parts are usually injection molded from rubber and plastic. Injection molding can also be divided into injection molding and die casting. Injection molding machine (referred to as injection machine or injection molding machine) is the main molding equipment for making thermoplastic or thermosetting materials into plastic products of various shapes by using plastic molding die. Injection molding is realized by injection molding machine and mold.
After the plastic is plasticized in the heating barrel of the injection molding machine, the plunger or the reciprocating screw is injected into the cavity of the closed mold to form a plastic processing method for the product. This method can process products with complex shapes, precise dimensions or inserts, and has high production efficiency. Most thermoplastics and certain thermosets (such as phenolics) can be processed by this method. The material used for injection molding must have good fluidity in order to fill the cavity to obtain the product. Since the 1970s, injection molding with chemical reactions, called reaction injection molding, has developed rapidly.
The injection molding machine is composed of an injection device, a clamping device and an injection mold. There are two ways to specify the size of an injection molding machine: one is the volume or weight of each injection, and the other is the large clamping force. The other main parameters of the injection molding machine are plasticizing capacity, injection rate and injection pressure. The continuous improvement of plastic properties has also led to the plastic accessories gradually entering various industries. At present, the demand for plastic products in the fields of building materials, automobiles, home appliances and electronics is still relatively strong. The rapid development of these industries has also made the development of China's plastic products industry into a rapid development stage, especially the plastic parts produced by injection molding plastic parts processing methods.
